Soccer Summer 2010

Tori did soccer this summer and had a great time. She still played in the 3-4 year old league since she's not quite 5 yet. It was fun that she got to play with some of our friends that just barely turned 3. This meant that she was actually one of the bigger and better players on the team which was a ton of fun for Tori. This year soccer was a lot different compared to last year where she mostly picked flowers and socialized. There was still plenty of socializing this year, but she got the ball a lot and in one game scored 4 goals! (Of course that was the game I forgot the video camera.)

Her team was yellow again, just like last year, and their name was "Crew". Below from left to right starting at the top Robert's dad, Luke D., Robert, Tori, Keifer's dad, Andrew, Luke, Keifer.

Below is a video of one of Tori's first games this season. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world - she almost scored a goal (at this point she had never scored one before) and she comes running up to me in the middle of the game to say, "Did you see that?" She was having so much fun it made my day.

You may ask why there are pictures of Tori with curlers in the soccer post. This is because the night before soccer she asked me to do her hair in curlers so she would look pretty for soccer. We may have gotten better at soccer, but she is still all girl! Below is a picture of her hair after we took the curlers out. She started to sleep and decided that they weren't comfortable, but still wanted me to take a picture of her "beautiful curls".

Pasta and Long Hair

The pictures in this post aren't really related, I'm just horribly behind with blogging pictures of Tori so I put them together. Below are two pictures of Tori eating her absolute favorite meal - pasta (of any shape or size as long as it has Parmesan cheese on it). She actually really likes eating the mini shells because she has found that they are the perfect size to put on her fingers and that they're a lot more fun to eat that way.
Below are three pictures of Tori's hair. Her hair is sooooo long! We get comments on it all the time. We still have never cut it except for a little trim to even it out when she was one. Lately she has been begging me to get a hair cut, because she really does not like having her hair brushed. So, since I'm planning on cutting it sometime in the next month or so I thought I would take a few pictures of her hair while it was still long.

Pig Tails

These pictures are from a week or so ago. It's been harder lately to take any pictures, because Tori absolutely loves to look at pictures of herself on the camera. So when pictures are taken, no matter how long I let her look at the camera there are tears when it is time to put it away.

These pictures are from the first time I was able to put all of her hair up in pig tails. Her hair keeps growing like crazy. She's not a big fan of having her hair done, but she loves to go show Da da "pretty Tori" after it is all done.

New Do

We've finally found another way to do Tori's hair, which is good because she loves to find the little clip that I usually put in her hair and pull it out while saying "oww". She loves the new do, though I think she has the most fun playing with the comb after mom is done.

Dad's hat is still a good stand-by for those bad hair days.
