Easter

Above the kids are all loving their Easter baskets.  Below are my attempts at getting a cute picture with everyone in their Easter clothes.  Tori really wanted her and Ellie to match this year.  I think this is the first time they've had matching dresses - so sweet.

Here the kids are doing an Easter egg hunt in our back yard.  We were lucky the weather cleared up just enough for us to still do it.

 I forgot post about dying easter eggs.  The kids love doing this and it was nice that James has really gotten independent with it this year.  They get so sad when we get rid of them that they make me take a picture each year. :)

 

Playing Outside

 Just a few pictures of the kids enjoying the backyard.  It's so nice to have a place for them o run and play.

Readin Riting Rockin

 The whole 2nd grade put on a musical performance at Tori's school.  It was called "Readin Riting & Rockin".  We had listened to the songs so much in the car that James and Ellie knew the songs, too, and were very excited to watch Tori perform them.   

 Above, Tori is in the middle dressed in black.  Below, Tori had one of the speaking parts.  She was so thrilled to get one, since they had to try out forit and not everyone got a speaking part.  She said, "I think I put it in my bookbag this morning."  It was very fun to watch that they all did a great job!

Soccer

Some pictures of Tori on her last day of indoor soccer this winter.  She really improved over the session and had a lot of fun.  It was fun watching her play, but I'm a bit relieved to have a break from all the sports.  We missed the sign up for fall sports so we sort of over scheduled ourselves in the winter.

One of our friends, Pearce had his second birthday party at the same indoor soccer place and it was a bunch of fun for all the kids.  Below, Pearce is getting ready to blow out his candles - he's a really sweet boy.

Jumping fun

For one of our church playgroups we went to a place that sells swing sets and trampolines.  They let you play on all their display equipment. They had a bunch of trampolines and some really fun play sets.  I wish I had taken more pictures, but it was pretty hard to keep up with both James and Ellie.  They both had a blast, especially on the trampolines.  

Ellie was just so cute with her hand on her cheek, seriously concentrating on her computer that I had to take a picture.
