Fire Station

With the Medical Partners group we went to tour one of the fire stations in the area. All the kids loved (what kid wouldn't love climbing on a fire engine).

We've done this before when Tori was younger, but I think she appreciated it a lot more this time. Probably because she could climb in and out of everything by herself and she loved actually getting to get inside the fire engine.

Above Elise and Lawson are in the fire engine with Tori and below Tori and Harrison are attempting to slide down the fire pole.

Baby Brother

So we found out back in January when Grandma Katie was visiting that we are having a boy!! Tori couldn't be more excited to be a big sister and asks me regularly "why can't the baby come out of your belly now?" When we ask her what she wants to name the baby she says, "Jacques". I think I spelled that right - it is the name of the mouse from the movie Cinderella (if the baby was going to be a girl she wanted to name her Cinderella). Yes - our daughter is being brainwashed by Disney. Below are some pictures from the 20 week ultrasound (I am now 29 weeks and the due date is June 10th). They said everything looked great on the ultrasound, so we are very happy. I love the first picture where he is sucking his thumb.

So something is in the water here in Iowa. Below is a picture of some of my friends here in Iowa when we went out to dessert (all of their husbands are residents at the hospital, too). The crazy thing is that all seven of us are pregnant! We are standing in order from left to right based on how far along we are. Below the picture are names and months when their babies are due.
