Happy Halloween

 It was a beautiful night for trick or treating!

 Captain America, Tinkerbelle, the witch and the lobster all had a blast!

 I'm always amazed at the energy they have to run all over the neighborhood and they had a ton of fun.  When the kids eventually got tired out, we stopped at a neighbor's and had hot chocolate and the kids got to sort some of their candy.  Such a fun night.  I'm so thankful we live in a neighborhood filled with such nice, fun people. 

Halloween fun

Here are Ellie and Henry and their playgroup friends at the playgroup Halloween party.  Below Ellie (Tinkerbelle) is with one of her closest friends Abby (Cinderella).  If you look closely, you can see Henry in his car seat behind them.  They played lots of fun games, ran around the gym and ate cute snacks - it was a great morning. :) 

Here are the kids carving pumpkins.  Ellie wasn't too thrilled about the idea of putting her hand in a pumpkin, but Tori and James were a bit more adventurous.  Ellie had a lot of fun sticking pumpkin decorations on the outside of her pumpkin.

Clams

Every now and then I steam up some clams for us to eat.  I think they are delicious - the kids only sort of like them, but they love playing with the shells. :)

Walk around Salem Lake

We wanted to get out Saturday, so there is a really picturesque walk around a very large lake not too far from us.  We decided to see how far we could make it before the kids tired out (it's 7 miles around).  They made it about 1/4 of the way and then we turned back.

When we got home, Ellie saw her little pumpkin she picked out and couldn't help but play with it.  She loves that pumpkin!

Cute Henry

Here are a few cute pictures of our almost 3 month old.  He's just such a happy little boy!

And he loves his swing and little puppy.

Pumpkin Patch

James, Ellie, Henry and I went with our church playgroup to a local pumpkin patch.  It was fun day.  They got to see a little presentation and feed the goats, sheep and chickens.  James was more into feeding the animals then Ellie was.

 Below they helped make a scarecrow.

We also went on a hayride.  Henry wasn't so sure about the hayride at the end.

 The kids favorite part was picking out their own little pumpkin.  They loved that the pumpkins were just their size.

 Here are a few pictures of the whole group.  We're really lucky to live by such fun people.

 I had to include a picture of Henry in his Halloween outfit, even if I did take it in the car right before we drove home.

Little baby doctor

 A friend gave us this little doctor outfit for Henry.  So cute, but John says if he's smart he'll grow up to be a dentist. ;)

 

 

 

Patty-Cake Henry

Henry loves patty-cake - especially with Dad. He also loves to laugh - I can never get enough of it.
