A few things before the baby arrives

 I'm not one for taking many pictures while I'm pregnant, but we usually like to take a couple when I'm getting close to my due date.  In this picture I've got about 3 weeks to go.  We decided to drive to the temple one last time before I had the baby.  While I went to the temple, John played with the kids at a park and took them to eat at Panda Express (one of their favorite places to eat, but we don't have one close by). 

 

 There was a sudden down pour and all the kids got soaked just during the walk from the car into the restaurant.  John said they were pretty good sports, but were all freezing by the time they were done eating.

The Pool

Our neighborhood had a swim club this summer that Tori did 3 days a week.  Anytime the weather was nice the kids would always want to stay after to swim.  So, we spent a lot of time at the pool!  Some of our friends from the neighborhood would usually stay, too, and all the kids would have a blast.  When the weather wasn't great for swimming they would use their beach towels and the pool chairs to make forts. :) 

 Ellie usually loved to play with watering cans and buckets in the zero-entry portion of the pool. 

 James loved "swimming" with his life jacket on trying to keep up with Tori.  He also loved to through dive sticks for her and she loved diving for them and practicing swimming laps, now that she has learned the actual strokes for swimming.

James' Birthday Party

 James wanted a water themed birthday party.  It was a ton of fun.  I was very stressed, since it rained and thundered all morning, but we were really lucky and it finally cleared up right before the party.  It would have been a little hard to have a water themed party inside. :)  We had a slip 'n slide, sprinklers, bubbles, water balloons, piñata, and lots of food and fun.  James loved it!!  At first he wasn't a big fan of the slip 'n slide, but by the time the party ended he was having fun with it.  Below, are some pictures of Tori, James and Ellie playing after all the other kids had gone home and it wasn't quite so crazy.

 These are just a few random pictures.  Above, the kids love to get in their pj's and cuddle with Dad on the couch.  Below are just some pictures of James and Ellie being silly.

Above - Ellie just loves to read books, especially in her bed - so cute!  I'm so glad my kids like to read!
