Some random pictures

These are just a few random pictures that we have taken lately. This first one is of Tori all ready for church on Sunday and I just loved her smile (and her dad particularly likes this dress on her).

The other day Tori and I went to the Children's Museum in our mall and it was "Circus Day" - so they gave each kid a clown nose. She loved her nose and thought it was very silly. She also loved getting her face painted and the balloon hat they made her (she gets a big kick out of this kind of stuff). She still gets really excited over the smallest things so it is a blast to do anything with her.

So, our church time this year is 11:30 to 2:30, which pretty much makes it so Tori can't get a nap on Sundays. This is really no big deal, since I thought she was starting to give up naps anyways. However, since it gets light earlier now and therefore she wakes up earlier in the morning, she has started taking naps again (probably about 5 days a week). On Sundays, we just have her do "quiet time" in her room after church. The last two Sundays this is what I have found when I go in to tell her she can be done with quiet time. I guess church just wears the poor little girl out.

Easter Dress

It has taken me awhile to finally do this post, but here are a few pictures of Tori in her Easter dress on Easter Sunday. We went shopping for it together and she picked it out herself (after we bought 5 dresses, brought them home and had a fashion show for Dad). I think I'm creating a monster - she loves to shop for clothes for herself and wanted to take home every dress in the store. The problem is I think she looks cute in all of them and want to bring them all home. We were good, though and took the other dresses back after Tori decided on this one.

She was almost as excited for Easter morning as she was for Christmas. She came running into our room in the morning saying, "It's Easter, It's Easter." Since we had to get ready in time to make it to church at 10am, I set her up at the computer doing computer games while I took a shower - which she could usually do all day long. Sometime during my shower she disappeared downstairs and the next thing I know she's running back upstairs saying, "Look mommy the Easter Bunny brought me more watercolors!!!" So much for waiting for mom and dad to come down and find the baskets the Easter bunny had hidden.

Easter

Holidays just keep getting more and more fun with Tori. Here are a few pictures of Tori looking cute in her Easter dress.

The day before Easter our church had an Easter party for the little kids. They had a bunch of balloons for the kids to play with. You can't see it very well in the picture, but Tori has a balloon stuck to her back. All that pretty, fine hair was perfect for balloons to stick to and it was pretty fun watching her try and get it off.

They also had hidden a bunch of eggs filled with candy around the church for the kids to find. Tori had a ton of fun doing this, especially when she figured out that they had candy in them. I've never seen her eat jelly beans so fast.

Tori really loved decorating eggs this year, too. Below she is showing off a few of her creations and the stickers she is putting on them.

Below are pictures of Tori helping me mix the dye for the eggs and her putting an egg in some dye at a friend's house (yes she got to dye eggs twice this year).

Some friends invited us to have Easter dinner with them, so we got to eat good food and all the kids got to find more candy and dye more eggs. In the picture below from left to right: Tori, Kenney, Anna, Luke and Andrew. Sorry, I couldn't get a single one of them to look at me (all the candy was just much too fun).

More cute outfitts

Here are just some pictures of Tori in cute outfits. Grandmas and friends have been very nice and have given Tori such adorable clothes. I want to make sure I get pictures of all of them, because she is growing so fast.

Lately, she's gotten a little more picky about what she wears, namely because she has started really being able to dress herself and she thinks that's the coolest thing ever.

Dresses

These are just a bunch of pictures of Tori in her Sunday dresses. I think she always looks so cute in her dresses, so I always end up taking her picture on Sundays.

Sunday dress

Here are just a couple of cute pictures of Tori all dressed up in her Sunday dress. She has so many cute dresses, but I don't get that many pictures of her in them because we have church in the afternoon now and I never think to take any pictures. She's also growing so fast that her dresses keep getting too short very quickly.

Ready for Church

We just thought Tori looked too cute in her new dress and pig-tails not to post some pictures. These were taken right before church on Sunday when she is usually very happy and loves to find all sorts of fun things in the bathroom drawers while Mom and Dad are getting ready.
