15/16 Months Old

These measurements are from his most recent doctor's appointment when he was about 16 1/2 months.
Height: 34 inches (off the charts)
Weight: 29 lbs 5 oz (92nd percentile)
I think I probably say this on every post updating James' age, but he keeps getting cuter and more fun everyday! He has mastered walking and runs most everywhere he goes - it is quite hard to keep up with him. Luckily, he is still very much a mama's boy and likes to stay relatively close to me most of the time. As you can tell from the pictures above, one of his very favorite things are phones. He likes his toy phones, but if he sees a real one he must have it - this has made it very difficult to talk on the phone lately. Most of the pictures below are a little crazy since it is a bit hard to take of picture of James at this stage. He is usually running around or wants the camera (he has a love for anything electronic). One of the most fun things about this stage is that he is starting to communicate with us. He does the signs for milk, more, all done, water, food, please and thank you. He has learned that the "please" sign gets him most anything he wants and loves to use that one. He also says mama, dada, car, ball, bye and nods yes and no. It's so fun to finally get a little glimpse of what is going on inside his cute little head.

Above, James hugging his stuffed animal and below he's trying to get the camera.
It's really fun now that James and Tori enjoy playing together. He will follow her anywhere and she is a really sweet big sister. Lately, James has gotten really good at hugging and loves to give his big sister lots of hugs. They also love to dance together to music which I love to watch, maybe one of these days I'll actually catch it on video.
