4 month old Henry

4 Months Old
Weight: 15 lbs (40%)
Height: 26.5 inches (93%)
I can't believe our little Henry is 4 months old!  He's a great little eater and an on and off sleeper, but my favorite thing about him is that Henry loves to smile and laugh.  He is very ticklish under his neck and just giggles anytime I touch him there.  He's also very sweet and cuddly!

Backyard leaves

It was a beautiful fall day today.  The kids loved playing in the backyard and helping us rake leaves.
Below they are sitting on a little pile of leaves that we had raked.  Even though it wasn't that big, they were thrilled to jump in it. :)

Some more pictures

Here are some "webe's" (John and Ellie's take on a selfie), while we were eating out.

Henry was just too cute in his car seat so he had to have his picture taken, too.  I love his little onesie, too.  A friend gave me a pack of them that all look like a different ball - today he was wearing the basketball.

Happy Halloween

It was a beautiful night for trick or treating!
Captain America, Tinkerbelle, the witch and the lobster all had a blast!
I'm always amazed at the energy they have to run all over the neighborhood and they had a ton of fun.  When the kids eventually got tired out, we stopped at a neighbor's and had hot chocolate and the kids got to sort some of their candy.  Such a fun night.  I'm so thankful we live in a neighborhood filled with such nice, fun people.

Halloween fun

Here are Ellie and Henry and their playgroup friends at the playgroup Halloween party.  Below Ellie (Tinkerbelle) is with one of her closest friends Abby (Cinderella).  If you look closely, you can see Henry in his car seat behind them.  They played lots of fun games, ran around the gym and ate cute snacks - it was a great morning. :)
Here are the kids carving pumpkins.  Ellie wasn't too thrilled about the idea of putting her hand in a pumpkin, but Tori and James were a bit more adventurous.  Ellie had a lot of fun sticking pumpkin decorations on the outside of her pumpkin.
Pumpkins from left to right: John, James, Tori & Ellie.  Tori was pretty proud - this was one of the first years she was able to do a lot of the carving.
Have to include sweet little Henry :)

Clams

Every now and then I steam up some clams for us to eat.  I think they are delicious - the kids only sort of like them, but they love playing with the shells. :)

Walk around Salem Lake

We wanted to get out Saturday, so there is a really picturesque walk around a very large lake not too far from us.  We decided to see how far we could make it before the kids tired out (it's 7 miles around).  They made it about 1/4 of the way and then we turned back.
When we got home, Ellie saw her little pumpkin she picked out and couldn't help but play with it.  She loves that pumpkin!
