We had about a half a foot of snow over a few days about a week ago. So on one of the mornings when I went out to shovel some more snow from our sidewalks I decided to take Tori out with me and pull her around on the sled in the snow in our yard. She had a blast (even though it was only 20 degrees outside). Anytime I would stop she would sign and say "more, more". She even toppled off the sled once and that didn't even take the smile off her face. The snow is now mostly melted, but the sled is still in the garage and everytime we go to get in the car she shouts, "sled, sled" when she sees it.

Ring-around-the-Rosies
One of Tori's favorite things to do now is to play Ring-around-the-Rosies. She'll say again, again for me to do it with her or she'll just turn around in circles herself while I sing. Her favorite part is, of course, to "all fall down". It's hard to get a picture of us acutally doing it, but here is a picture of her after we sang "all fall down".

Reading to Baby
Lately, Tori has started reading a book to her baby. I just thought it was the cutest thing in the world, so I finally caught it on camera. Sometimes she sits and looks at the book with her baby, but now most of the time she ends up bringing both baby and book to me and wants me to read to both of them. Either way I think it's cute.

New Outfits
I had a request for some more blog pictures, so here are a few pictures of Tori in some of the new outifits that she got for Christmas.

Opening Christmas Presents
Tori absolutely loved finally getting to rip into all those nicely wrapped packages under the tree that mom kept telling her not to touch for the past month. The only problem was that she loved each present so much that it was hard to get her to stop playing and to move onto the next one. It was just a ton of fun to have such a happy, sweet kid that was so into Christmas this year.
One of the funniest things was that she loved getting the Chicken Run DVD from her Grandpa. She wouldn't let it go and just ran around the room with it saying, "Bock, bock".
Her big gift this year was a kitchen set that she can't get enough of. I think she thinks it's Christmas every morning when she comes down and still sees the kitchen there.Monday, December 25, 2006

Nativity
Tori received an adorable Little People nativity set from her Grandma for Christmas. She has just loved playing with it. Her favorite thing is to push the button on top to make it play the song "Away in a Manger". It has also been a wonderful thing to distract her from the Christmas tree, which she is fascinated with.
